STILLWATER, Okla. — T. Boone Pickens will reportedly be among several panelists taking part in a three-day energy summit taking place in Stillwater and Oklahoma City next week.

The energy discussion is part of the “Steel on Wheels” tour, a running segment on MSNBC’s “The Dylan Ratigan Show.” The tour has stopped in nine cities since launching in December, visiting with experts to discuss national energy policy.

The tour first stops Wednesday in Oklahoma City at the Truck Travel Stop before making its way to the Oklahoma State University campus Thursday and Friday. All three segments will air live during Ratigan’s show at 3 p.m.

There will also be a town-hall style meeting open to the public Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Wes Watkins Center in Stillwater.

The stop is part of the final leg of the “Steel on Wheels” tour, according to an MSNBC release. Ratigan is expected to bring together top specialists in the energy and nuclear fields to discuss how the nuclear crisis in Japan and recent Mideast uprisings could affect United States energy policy.
