Cenk Uygur and Dylan talk about Washington’s continued inability to get anything done in Congress, even when polls clearly show that’s American citizens want. Cenk asks, “Since you’ve been off TV, has it gotten any better or is Washington just as corrupt as it’s ever been?” Ratigan says, “I would say it’s more corrupt than it’s ever been. There’s a smugness now, a comfort in both President Obama and the Democratic leadership as well as the Republican leadership that they have so thoroughly gerrymandered every electoral district, that they have so thoroughly rigged every significant policy … that they believe that they are, in effect, untouchable.”
